The course aims to provide you with an understanding of the primary wine types associated with their respective regions, the variety of grapes found in Spain, overall production volumes, and the art of wine appreciation.

Throughout the journey, we will explore the diverse regions of the Iberian Peninsula, from north to south and east to west, including Priorat, Navarra, La Rioja, Jerez, and Rías Baixas. You will also gain insights into the dynamic D.O. Bierzo, one of Spain’s most vibrant regions with a promising future.

In conclusion, Ferrán Centelles will conduct a sensory tasting session, delving into the organoleptic analysis of wines. We’ll have the opportunity to savor wines from various Spanish regions, such as the robust Ribera del Duero, the exclusive and aged wines from Jerez, the delightful cava, emerging trends, Bierzo, and iconic classics like Rioja.
