One of the best Spanish sommeliers of the moment.

Ferran Centelles (born in Barcelona in 1981) stands out as one of the finest contemporary Spanish sommeliers. His reputation extends both nationally and internationally. His professional journey commenced after he completed his training when he joined elBulli (2000-2011), a period during which he secured the title of Best Sommelier in Spain in 2006. Since then, he has continued to immerse himself in the study and practice of wine, both within and beyond Spain's borders.

Moreover, Ferran is actively engaged with Sapiens del Vino, a project under Bullipedia. His writing prowess is evident through the publication of three books: "¿Qué vino con este Pato?" (Planeta Gastro), "La botella 18" (Ediciones Dionisíacas), and "Las 100,75 preguntas que siempre quiso hacer sobre el vino" (Libros de Vanguardia).

His accolades include winning the Ruinart Award in 2006 (best sommelier in Spain) and receiving the prestigious National Gastronomy Award in 2011, as well as the Professional of the Year Award in 2013 from the Catalan Gastronomy Association.
