What you'll learn

Through the creation of nine different cookie designs, Anna Gordon will teach you a range of cookie techniques. You will learn how and when to mix cookie doughs by hand or with a stand mixer. You will see how rolling, cutting and scooping techniques can be applied to create a variety of cookie products.

You will discover how to build flavor in cookies so that you can incorporate ingredient ideas into your own cookie creations.

Get the most out of your cookie dough by creating one brown butter dough and using it to create four different cookie options, including a crowd pleasing thumbprint cookie with crunchy hazelnuts and creamy nutella, and a classic cut out cookie decorated with royal icing.

Learn to make a gluten free, rich chocolate crinkle cookie and a vegan chunky peanut butter cookie. If you enjoy spices, the ginger snap cookie is for you. The oatmeal, cranberry and white chocolate cookie is no ordinary oatmeal cookie. The chewy texture of oatmeal is complemented by tart cranberries and creamy white chocolate before crowning with freshly grated orange zest.
