From Ducasse to Wilcuma: Nicolas Simon Redefines Hospitality Leadership Across Continent

Nicolas Simon is the co-founder and CEO of Wilcuma, a full-service hospitality company offering services including consulting, management, real estate and more to help those opening a business succeed.

Nicolas' love for the hospitality industry grew upon graduating from one of the top business schools in France. Using his new-found skills, he went on to work for a variety of businesses in directorial positions including Byblos Saint-Tropez, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and the Hotel Plaza-Athenée.

After working in various teams including F&B operations to finance and marketing, Nicolas became managing partner in three stand-alone restaurants, two of which were awarded Michelin stars within the first year of operation. Then, in 2008, Nicolas joined the Alain Ducasse team where he became Director of Operations North America and moved to New York City.

After more than seven years with Ducasse, Nicolas decided to venture out on his own and created Wilcuma. In his spare time, Nicolas enjoys skiing and tennis, though not at the same time. His best memory is carrying the Olympic torch for the 1992 Winter Games.
