Hoy me he dado un capricho con uno de esos postres que huelen a infancia, a sábados y a tranquilidad. He hecho crêpes al horno rellenas de queso dulce, las he colocado como un pequeño mosaico comestible y les he echado por encima una rica crema dulce, que en el horno se ha convertido en la corteza más perfecta y aterciopelada.
Para terminar, añadí un toque de chocolate rallado, sólo para redondear la historia y convocar esa felicidad familiar que aparece en el momento en que se abre la puerta del horno.
Si hay un plato capaz de salvar un día, creo que hoy lo he encontrado.

Today I treated myself with one of those desserts that smell like childhood, Saturdays, and peace of mind. I made baked crêpes filled with sweet cheese, arranged them like a little edible mosaic, and poured rich sweet cream over the top, which turned into the most perfect, velvety crust in the oven.
To finish it off, I added a touch of grated chocolate, just to round out the story and summon that familiar happiness that appears the moment the oven door opens.
If there’s a dish capable of truly saving a day, I think I found it today.

@judyrusselllive-com-au We call it Baked Pancakes with Cheese or another version of Pancake Gratin with Walnuts. But we can definitely play with the flavors. These are the two most common versions.
