I’m always finding a way to avoid wasting. I’m not talking just about leftovers. When we fail and the garbage is the final destination.
A team member left the vermicelli a lot of time resting after the cooking point. The result? A pureé, a dough, cement, glue, mass or something else, but simply wasn’t good aspect.
I’ve separated a part to try to recover it. After a couple of hour on the refrigerator, I cutted in rectangles, and toasted it in the pan. To finish, kewpie mayo and furikake. All the family loved it!

Turning a “cement” vermicelli fail into a fun, crunchy snack with kewpie mayo and furikake is genius.

Ezra, that’s such an impressive way of thinking — turning what could have been waste into something creative and delicious. I love how you saw potential in that “cement” vermicelli and transformed it into something the whole family enjoyed. That kind of resourcefulness not only saves food, it sparks new ideas and flavors you might never have discovered otherwise. Brilliant!
