Os acordáis del reto de las croquetas? Algunos recordaréis que incluso me llevé uno de los premios. La victoria supo a oro, a crujiente… al menos por fuera.
Pero entre bambalinas estaba mi infame intento de croqueta nº. 5: la croqueta de chocolate. 🍫
En mi mente: “¡Esto será revolucionario! El postre se une a la comida reconfortante!”
En la realidad: un caos fundido, que no se parecía ni a postre ni a comida. La cocina olía a traición y el plato parecía algo pintado por Picasso durante una resaca.Tras mi victoria, incluso tuve la oportunidad de confesar mi desastre al chef Chema Soler, que amablemente me dio consejos para un próximo intento. ¿El problema? Todavía no he encontrado el valor ni la fuerza mental para volver a enfrentarlo. La angustia fue demasiado real para alguien que ama de verdad el chocolate 💔.
Pero un día… algún día… la croqueta de chocolate y yo volveremos a encontrarnos. Y esta vez, con suerte, haremos las paces en el plato.

Remember the croquette challenge? Some of you might recall that I even walked away with one of the prizes. Victory tasted golden, crispy… at least on the outside.
But behind the scenes was my infamous attempt at croquette no. 5: the chocolate croquette. 🍫
In my mind: “This will be revolutionary! Dessert meets comfort food!”
In reality: molten chaos, resembling neither dessert nor food. The kitchen smelled like betrayal, and the plate looked like something Picasso painted during a hangover.After my win, I even had the chance to confess my disaster to chef Chema Soler, who kindly gave me advice for a next attempt. The problem? I still haven’t found the courage or the mental strength to face it again. The heartbreak was just too real for someone who truly loves chocolate. 💔
But one day… someday… the chocolate croquette and I will meet again. And this time, hopefully, we’ll make peace on the plate.

Ayyy, querida ‘sis’, que gran confesión. Eso es lo que tienen los retos, nos sacan de nuestra zona de confort y la mayor parte de las veces nos llevan a hacer cosas que no hubiéramos imaginado ser capaces. Y eso es genial. Pero en alguna que otra ocasión también generan alguna que otra catástrofe. Con el tiempo… también es divertido
