      Fiordilatte Ice Cream

First result of Sergio Dondoli’s Italian Artisan Gelato course. As defined by the teacher, “It is a classic milk ice cream, without eggs or added flavorings, which highlights the pure and creamy taste of milk and cream”.

And I will tell you that I was surprised by its clean taste, not at all cloying and with just the right sweetness to want to repeat. This one stays at home.

I put wafer and freeze-dried raspberry and we have also eaten it alone that is fabulous😋.

What a pleasure to see your Fiordilatte, it’s beautiful and delicious!

The ice cream looks super creamy and that freeze-dried raspberry gives it a very nice touch, like sparkling. The wafer and the umbrella add joy without taking away from the ice cream.

I like that you played with different photos, although if you ever try a softer light from the side, you’ll see how the texture stands out even more.

did you find it easy to achieve that balance of sweetness you’re talking about, or did you have to adjust several times to get it just right?
This ice cream has already earned a place in your home, and in the community too! I congratulate you for the result and for sharing it with so much detail and enthusiasm.❤

@sussan_scoolinaryteam Thank you Sussan! To your question I will tell you that I did not have any trouble adapting the sweetness because I made the recipe as the master Dondoli explains. I found the richness extraordinary and the sweetness well controlled, which my husband will be very happy with because he doesn’t take much sugar.

What I found most difficult was to control the temperature since I don’t have a blast chiller as I explained in the video I uploaded, there I asked you if I had done it well with the reverse bain marie (I asked Scooly and he gave me that option). I was asking because I have not finished the course yet and I don’t know if they explain this in the following lessons. If you have a little time (there is no hurry) I would like to know your opinion about it, but only when you can because I won’t be making ice cream again for a few days.

And finally, I greatly appreciate that tip regarding photography ( I think I understood it ) I will try in the next ones what you say because I made others in another recipe and surely they are the same..😅

          Big hug ❤

@beatriztorijagmail-com Thank you Beatriz. You really have to try it because it is amazing.

Well, it’s not my first ice cream , but it is from this course. A year ago I shared a recipe for lemon ice cream. But that recipe has much more sugar, it is actually a bomb, but a very rich bomb, it must also be said. Surely for your lemons it will be great for you, let me know how it goes (I think you were not here then)

what a joy to finally see your ice cream, Lo! 🌞
Your presentation is fresh, clean and very well thought out. The choice of container enhances the creamy white color of the ice cream, and the touches of freeze-dried raspberry give it that visual and textural point that elevates it without complicating it.
Just today I was talking to @orsolya-csernak and she was telling me that this course immediately transported her to the beautiful vibe of pure Italy… did the same thing happen to you? Tell us about your training in Italy, Ors if you want.
That elegant simplicity of the fiordilatte has something that connects directly with the authentic. It was beautiful and appetizing for you!🍨🇮🇹

This one definitely deserves to stay at home… and probably won’t last long in the freezer!
