      Snails in spicy sauce

It is time for snails. At home we like them very much, especially the small ones. But today I bring you the big ones, in spicy sauce with fried tomato, white wine, garlic, bay leaf, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper and salt.

They are delicious with a good cold beer, and dipping bread in that sauce until the plate is covered… 🥳

There are those who hate them and those who love them…. Do you eat snails or are you one of those who can’t eat them? 🐌

…that sauce has a color, a brightness and a body, that is to bathe in it 😄. The truth is that snails don’t make me much of a joke, although I do eat a few of them. Especially with a spicy sauce like that 🥰.

how tasty that snail dish looks!
I like the way you describe the recipe with such enthusiasm and closeness. Also, you achieved a great plating that highlights the ingredients well. Do you usually let the sauce sit for a while before serving? Sometimes that helps the flavors to integrate even more and make them more potent.
I have never eaten snails but I imagine they must taste delicious, so for me and for those of us who have never tried them, could you tell us what they taste like?

Thanks for sharing your preparation, would you dare to try this sauce with another type of seafood or protein.

        Best regards.

@sussan_scoolinaryteam Gracias Sussan.

Y❤a te contaré 😉

            • Level: level 4 executive chef 2 Executive Chef

Ingredientes salsa : Tomate frito, vino blanco, ajo, laurel, pimentón, comino, guindilla cayena y sal.

hi! 🌟 I personally have a hard time with snails, but your dish looks beautiful. The composition of the photo and the texture of the sauce are spectacular, they really invite you to dip bread endlessly. What is the main difference you noticed when cooking large snails? 🍽️🐌

My husband loves them, the small ones of course, but with a little bit of ham in that sauce they are delicious

                • I’m just going to tell you that this time, I can’t say that I like your photo, because I have a phobia of snails.

                  They paralyze me

                  …I swear that I’m a grown up and I know it’s a bug that can’t do anything to me…but I can’t even see them…ha ha ha ….

                  So I don’t praise this food…ja ha

@stellagaglianogmail-com I knew someone would say they don’t like them, but have a phobia of them? Ains, then when you come home I won’t put them on the menu😉🤣.

Now that is a plate with character! That spicy sauce sounds like pure comfort… bold, aromatic, and perfect for dunking endless pieces of bread (as it should be). I’m firmly in the “love them” camp. Curious to see how many brave souls out there are still missing out! 😄
