      Mussels in Salsa Brava Sauce

I think this is one of the recipes we like the most. With a spicy sauce based on tomato, garlic, salt, onion, cayenne, flour and oil. Sprinkled with a little bit of chives and parsley leaves from my garden to give a fresh touch🌿.

In addition to being simple, it’s as tasty as it is.

Today we have eaten it as a starter and we have dipped bread until the plate was covered 😂.

what a great job you did with those mussels in salsa brava! In my country we call them choros and we also eat them in stews, spicy or soups, but my favorites are the choros a la chalaca and they are topped with tomato, onion and parboiled corn (choclo), all chopped, plus lemon juice and cilantro. did you make the salsa brava with the recipe from a Scoolinary course or did you add your own touch?

How wonderful, Maloles. They look delicious. I love mussels. At home we prepare them in many ways, sometimes just steamed with a little wine (my husband’s favorite), but I like them more like yours, with tomato and spicy 🌶🔥.

        • They look very tasty, in Belgium it is a typical dish.

The perfect balance of spice and freshness, and I love that you dipped every last bit of sauce with bread. That’s how you know it’s a winner!
