      • Potato and Romanesco Crown with Lemon Thyme Aromas

      #PotatoChallenge

      Amateur profile

Steamed moralisa and violet potatoes, accompanied by romancesco scented with lemon thyme that brings freshness and aroma. Each piece of white potato is garnished with a delicate gazania flower leaf, Pedro Ximenez and extra virgin olive oil pearls that add shine and softness.

The dish is enhanced with pickled red onion feathers that add an acidic touch and crunchy texture, chopped chives for freshness, spinach powder that adds color and nutrients, poppy seeds for a crunchy touch and blackberry salt that balances with a sweet and salty nuance as well as a touch of color. All this washed down with early EVOO from my land that unifies the flavors with its intensity and quality.

A healthy dish for dinner. Although my husband likes to put mayonnaise (I did not put it in the photo because I prefer it without it).

The lemon thyme and chives I grow at home. Also gazania. It is great to go out in the garden and pick herbs and edible flowers. Many times they are the ones that inspire me to present the dishes. Those little things that make me happy🥰.

I love this vegetable dish, Maloles… you manage to make steamed vegetables, so healthy, look appetizing, and that’s not easy at all. And with that jewel of EVOO early 😋😋😋😋.

        Bravo, bravo!!! 👏👏👏

Maloles, I love how you tell every detail of the dish, reading your post I can feel the love and dedication you put into it. Using ingredients that you grow yourself at home gives it a very special value, and also the dish has beautiful colors, super appetizing.

I also liked that you used the spinach powder and the blackberry salt, which are preparations that you previously shared with us the elaboration of this dish…

which of all these ingredients do you feel elevated the dish the most this time?

Thank you for joining the challenge with this proposal. ❤️

Such a beautiful and thoughtful creation! The balance of colors, textures, and flavors sounds incredible earthy, fresh, and full of personality. I love how your own garden inspires the final touches. It really brings soul to the plate. 💞
