what a joy to see your first attempt with chef Antonio Bachour’s croissant recipe! 🥐✨ For a first time, they look fabulous!
On a technical level, you can tell that the lamination is well worked: the layers are marked and defined, and the baking shows a nice color contrast, with that final shine that makes them irresistible. If you want to polish further, you could pay attention to the oven temperature or the final fermentation, to achieve an airy and uniform internal honeycombing. But for a first attempt, this is a huge accomplishment! 👏👏 Do you have a photo of the inside?
Baking takes practice, patience and a lot of love for detail. And you’ve already taken a big step – let’s keep on rolling! 💪💛

¡A seguir laminando! 💪💛

We are super happy to see your result and that you share it with the community.🫶🏼 Making croissants is not an easy task! It requires patience, careful timing and a lot of practice… but for your first time, you did amazing.🙌🏼
The shape is very well done, and that shine in the baking shows that you treated them with a lot of care! Also, you can see that the layers are well defined, which is already a great achievement in the first test. How did you feel the lamination process? Was there anything that cost you more or that surprised you?
A little tip: if you ever notice that the baking is too dark on the base, you can try baking with a double sheet pan or raise the oven rack a little. But truth be told, they are beautiful and look ready to go with a good coffee or hot chocolate.
keep it up! Each attempt will give you more confidence and each baking will be better.❤️
