At one point, the whole scene became too funny not to capture… my husband stirring the ajvar in perfect rhythm with Balkan music. The spoon moved like a conductor’s baton, the ajvar bubbled like it was dancing, and I couldn’t resist filming it. Suddenly, our humble ajvar session looked like a dramatic scene from a movie about passion, fire, and paprika.
