Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made the classic chocolate chip cookies from Chef Anna Gordon’s ‘American Cookies’ course, and they turned out beautifully. Soft and chewy on the inside with a perfectly crisp exterior.
While I personally found them a bit on the sweet side (even after reducing the sugar slightly, as I usually do) they were undeniably delicious and were devoured quickly.

Those cookies look amazing, Ira! 😍
I love that you nailed the balance between a soft center and a crispy edge, just like the chef describes in the course!
It’s really interesting that you adjusted the sugar to your taste. Did you try using a different type of sugar or another ingredient to balance the sweetness?
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I’m sure you’re inspiring others to give the recipe a try. 🙌🏻
