What could have been but wasn’t… But it will be
How’s it going over here? I haven’t posted in weeks—between vacation, family, and this heat that’s suffocating us, I only log in to check out a class or two. Let me tell you the story behind this photo.
That day in November, I woke up early, full of excitement. I wanted to test out the tuile molds that had arrived a few days earlier. I started baking them, and some broke. But I put together a dessert with one of them and took this photo as a keepsake before making the final version, since I had to tweak a few things in my recipe. Then everything came to a sudden halt, and it just didn’t work out. There were weeks of medical tests, even a hospital stay…
Sometimes, life surprises you with something you can’t control, and everything changes in a second.
Today, while going through my files, this memory came up, and I wanted to share it. Someday it’ll happen—as soon as I feel like it and am ready for it 😉

Lo que pudo ser y no fue…Pero será
Qué tal por aquí? Llevo semanas sin aparecer y es que entre las vacaciones, familia, y este calor que nos tiene ahogados, solo entro para ver algún curso. Os cuento la historia de esta fotografía.
Aquel día de noviembre me levanté temprano toda ilusionada. Quería hacer un prueba con los moldes de tuiles que habían llegado dias antes. Empecé a hornearlas y algunas se rompieron. Pero monté un postre con una de ellas e hice esta foto a modo de recordatorio antes de hacer el válido pues tenia que ajustar algunas cosas en mi receta. Entonces todo se paró de repente y no pudo ser. Fueron semanas de pruebas médicas, incluso de ingreso en el hospital…
A veces, la vida te sorprende con algo que no controlas y todo cambia en un segundo. Desde entonces no he vuelto a ser la misma y aprovecho los dias que mi salud me lo permite para hacer lo que me gusta.
Hoy, repasando mis archivos ha salido este recuerdo y he querido compartirlo. Algún día será, en cuanto tenga ganas y esté preparada para ello 😉

Ay Lana, cuando he visto la foto me ha dado un vuelco el corazón. Me ha recordado todo lo que pasé hace solo unos meses y cómo me ha cambiado la vida desde entonces. Pero aqui sigo, esperando una operación de columna y llevando mis dias según dicta mi cuerpo. Ay que dar gracias a la vida por seguir adelante con lo que nos gusta.
