Blueberry tarts with almond sablé, lemon frangepan, bluberry ganache – decorated with vanilla and strawberry whipped ganache as well as some blueberry meringue. Great start to a berry-focused summer baking selection. 😍

These look gorgeous, Réka!. I love the clean sablé edges and that soft berry color palette, it feels very summery. The center piping gives each tart a lovely focal point. Maybe next time you could play a little more with the blueberry placement for extra balance. How did the lemon frangipane work with the blueberry ganache? 😊

@soldamiani Hi Sol! Thanks for your kind words and also the constructive criticism. 🙂 Yes, I agree, I should have probably thought a bit more about how to place the different pipings and blueberries. 🙈 Next time I’ll have a better idea than “let’s make it randomly”.
I think it was very nice, the lemon was a relatively small touch but still I think it helped the blueberry flavour to pop a little. People absolutely loved it! 🙌😍
PS: Sorry I didn’t join the tasting and cooking session, I didn’t because of my fish eating problem but next time I’ll definitely try to. Thanks for organising – the dishes looked lovely!-

@rekahorvathr-e2c3b8 Hi Réka! That “let’s make it randomly” approach has its charm too, sometimes it’s where the best ideas start 😄 The lemon touch sounds spot on, subtle but enough to lift the blueberry ganache.
And please don’t worry about the session! For the next one, maybe you could suggest a recipe so we can all meet around something you’d enjoy too. You can create a post with a recipe link and we’ll start taking notes for upcoming sessions 😉
