Asian coffee truffles.
On Tuesday I had some friends over for lunch and, as I love taking care of my guests, I prepared these Asian coffee truffles to put the sweet finishing touch to the meal. I’m not looking for them to be perfect or all the same; I prefer them to have that homemade look that makes it clear that they are made with love. El martes vinieron unos amigos a comer a casa y, como me encanta cuidar de mis invitados, preparé estas trufas de café asiático para poner el broche dulce a la comida. No busco que sean perfectas ni todas iguales; prefiero que tengan ese aspecto casero que deja claro que están hechas con cariño. Qué bonito ese enfoque. Se sienten caseras en el mejor sentido: con carácter, intención y una historia detrás. El acabado irregular les da calidez, y el sabor parece ser el verdadero protagonista. ¿Qué parte del café asiático querÃas que se notara más: el licor, la especia o el amargor del café?

Mi intención con estas trufas es que, cuando comas una, te recuerde al famoso café, con ese punto de alcohol, la personalidad del café y los aromas de la canela y el limón, puro espectáculo.
