This photo that I share with you today is already a while old. It’s the gift my coworkers -and friends- gave me for my last birthday. As they know how much I love cooking, they knew they would succeed with this gift, hehehe, and they did. At that moment I thought: I will share this jacket in Scoolinary when I reach the ‘Executive chef’. The thing is that when I reached it a few days ago, I was not able to publish the photo. One of the people who participated in the giveaway, a very dear friend, had just tragically passed away. I’m sorry I’ve been quite absent from the community. I’ve had a few weeks with no desire for anything. But, as always, the kitchen is a refuge and, at least for me, medicine. So, from this weekend on, I’ll be back in the courses, in the community to see all your dishes, and to continue sharing mine.

Esta foto que os comparto hoy tiene un tiempo ya. Es el regalo que me hicieron mis compañeros de trabajo –y amigos- por mi último cumpleaños. Como saben cuánto amo la cocina, sabÃan que triunfarÃan con este regalo, jejeje, y lo hicieron. En ese momento pensé: compartiré esta chaquetilla en Scoolinary cuando alcance el ‘Executive chef’. El caso es que cuando lo he alcanzado hace unos dÃas, no era capaz de publicar la foto. Una de las personas que participó en el regalo, una amiga muy querida, acababa de fallecer de forma trágica. Siento haber estado bastante ausente de la comunidad. He pasado unas semanas sin ganas de nada. Pero, como siempre, la cocina es un refugio y, al menos para mÃ, medicina. Asà que, de este fin de semana no pasa que retome entrar en los cursos, en la comunidad para ver todos vuestros platos, y seguir compartiendo los mÃos.

Mi querida Beatriz, cuanto siento tu pérdida. Espero que vuelvas a cocinar con ilusión porque como bien dices la cocina es un refugio para la tristeza y de eso sé mucho.
Vuelve cuando sientas que es el momento. Estaremos por aqui. Y ponte esa chaquetilla magnifica que seguro vas a tener con ella la inspiración y el ánimo que necesitas.
