I continue to pick up the gauntlet that our colleague Antonio (@cecu6669hotmail-com ) threw us some time ago. At Christmas it was impossible for me… I didn’t even have time to take pictures of the table. My mother is already old, she is losing her memory, and she is no longer able to organize lunches and dinners. She even forgets the recipes she has always made 😞.
But I didn’t want us to stop getting together as a family that we don’t see often, so I took care of everything.
The one I’m sharing with you is a traditional egg flan. Very simple. But even these recipes are hard for my mother. She doesn’t remember the proportion of sugar, eggs, milk… She forgets the cooking time. And of course, as she has always cooked in her head, she doesn’t have her recipes written down. I have been trying to collect and write down her recipes for some time now. And yes, one of them is this egg flan. He was very excited when I brought it and he saw that it was just like his 💖.

Sigo recogiendo el guante que nos lanzó nuestro compañero Antonio (@cecu6669hotmail-com ) hace un tiempo. En Navidad me fue imposible… ni para hacer fotos de la mesa tuve tiempo. Mi madre es ya mayor, está perdiendo memoria, y ya no está para organizar comidas y cenas. Se le olvidan hasta las recetas que ha hecho siempre 😞
Pero no he querido que dejáramos de reunirnos familia a la que no vemos a menudo, de modo que me encargué yo de todo.
El que os comparto es un flan de huevo tradicional. SencillÃsimo. Pero incluso estás recetas a mi madre le cuestán ya. No recuerda la proporción de azúcar, huevos, leche… Se le olvida el tiempo de cocción. Y claro, como siempre ha cocinado de cabeza, no tiene sus recetas escritas. Llevo un tiempo intentando recoger y dejar por escrito sus recetas. Y sÃ, una de ellas este flan de huevo. Se emocionó mucho cuando lo llevé y vio que era igual que el suyo 💖

Ese flan tiene mas que una pinta increible. Tiene alma, cariño y la receta de tu madre que aunque se le olvide alguna medida, estoy segura que son una joya.
Aprovecha todo el tiempo que puedas con ella y no dejes de recopilar esas recetas porque no hay nada mejor que las recetas de una madre😍

A mi madre le pasa lo mismo; ya no se acuerda de muchas recetas que hacÃa antiguamente y lo que yo hago es cocinar con los recuerdos, intentándome acordar del sabor hasta que doy con la receta. Tendrás que probar y probar hasta que te recuerde a tu infancia, verás como das con la tecla.

Recuerda también el flan de mi madre, yo nunca lo hago en casa son de pocos postres y todo es sin lactosa, aunque se puede adaptar bien pero el sabor cambia un poquito
