Good morning, friends. Today I do not present you any food dish, today I want to talk about the challenge that some time ago I proposed and I was the first one who could not fulfill. For that, I apologize. I do not like to abandon a project that I start, but I also recognize that these dates are quite difficult to meet a group of people from all over the world. Therefore, I propose two challenges with respect to these days that are approaching. The first one is that, as far as possible, we upload typical Christmas desserts from our country, region, city, etc.; it doesn’t matter if we cook them ourselves or not (preferably our own); this way we will learn about the Christmas gastronomic culture of other countries. And the other proposal is that, whether they are tests or finished dishes, we upload photos of the menus that will decorate the tables of our families this Christmas. We will be able to soak up the gastronomic culture of the world and enjoy those dishes that we all know how to make and the world does not enjoy. What do you think, chi@s? Suggestions are welcome. Buenos dÃas, amig@s. Hoy no os presento ningún plato de comida, hoy os quiero hablar del reto que hace un tiempo propuse y fui yo el primero que no podÃa cumplir. Por eso, os pido perdón. No me gusta abandonar un proyecto que empiezo, pero también reconozco que estas fechas son bastante difÃciles para poder coincidir un grupo de personas de todas partes del mundo. Por eso, os propongo dos retos con respecto a estos dÃas que se acercan. La primera es que, en la medida de lo posible, vayamos subiendo postres tÃpicos navideños de nuestro paÃs, región, ciudad, etc.; da igual que lo cocinemos nosotr@s o no (preferiblemente que sean nuestr@s); asà aprenderemos la cultura gastronómica navideña de otros paÃses. Y la otra propuesta es que, ya sean pruebas o platos terminados, vayamos subiendo fotos de los menús que van a engalanar las mesas de nuestras familias estas Navidades. Podremos empaparnos de la cultura gastronómica del mundo y disfrutaremos de esos platos que todos nosotros sabemos hacer y el mundo no los disfruta. ¿Qué os parece, chi@s? Se aceptan sugerencias. I really like this idea, Antonio. Sharing Christmas desserts and what we actually cook for our families sounds fun and very real. It’s a great way to learn from each other and see how different cultures celebrate through food. I’m in 😊
