So far away… and yet so close!
We are still excited after the masterclass with Chef Dina Alsina Pérez, where we met the winners of the #CheesecakeChallenge: Judy (Australia), Alexandra (Romania) and Paula (from Canada, connected from Spain). A pastry celebration with a global accent.
Dina opened the doors of her bakery and left us valuable lessons:
-
Baking is the key to a good cheesecake
-
Investing in an oven, refrigerator, mixer, kneader and thermometer makes all the difference
-
It is essential that professionals ask for the technical data sheet of the products
-
Avoid humidity in crunchy preparations
-
Knowing when to use liposoluble colorants and when to use water-based colorants
There was also space to highlight Judy’s work, with her “Ronda Art” cake, and to remember that in warm environments it is better to follow the recipe to the letter before making variations.
Thank you for joining us from different corners of the world. We share recipes, doubts, tips… and above all, the common desire to keep learning.

Tan lejos…

Thank you so much for this amazing app and the quality of the courses! I am learning so much.
I live in South Africa and have always had a HUGE love for healtny and beautiful food. Chef courses in our country is extremely expensive so I have not had the opportunity to study my passion. Instead I completed my law degree and specialized in finances. But now I want to go back and refocus on my passion for food.
One thing I really want to learn is making my own olive oil. I can’t find a course for oil making on the app, but I will continue searching. I have two mature olive trees in my yard that started yielding the most delicious sweet olives three years ago.-
