🤔What’s the most versatile ingredient?
I’d say my top two are chickpeas and avocado.

Well,… and what about potatoes?
You know, guys, I know a region in Hungary where people were so creative in preparing daily food using the available “poor” ingredients: potato, flour, fat and sometimes eggs and they have hundreds of recipes.I suppose we in Europe can recall at least 10 potato recipes. However, in other places, banana (plátano) or avocado or rice can be the basic nutrient and there are thousands of fantastic dishes.
What’s that basic nutrient in your country/region? 🙂

My third pick would definitely be the queen potato @orsolya-csernak So kind and gentle and easy to handle. Have you tried this Huancayo Style potatos recipe? I LOVE it. It’s a peruvian classic dish

Tough question and some excellent ingredients listed. I’ll add peanuts – can be used for sweet or savoury dishes, and the texture can be anything from creamy to crunchy! Think of chicken skewers with spicy peanut sauce, or my late grandmother’s favourite – peanut brittle! So versatile.
