Autumn in Bloom
Quince with Pentas and Oxalis
As every year I make this sweet so traditional when Autumn arrives. As a child I ate it at home but then there was no Thermomix. My mother and my grandmother made it by hand, in a more artisanal way, cutting the quinces into small pieces so that it would not cost so much when cooking. But with the same ingredients. Fortunately now we have devices that make life easier.
Last year I shared the recipe but this time with a different presentation, accompanied by small Pentas flowers and oxalis leaves.
This is my recipe with Thermomix
INGREDIENTS:
– 500 g of quince (with skin and without seeds)
– 1 peeled lemon (without pips or white part)
– 360 g of sugar (the exact sweetness for me, after trying with more quantity )
1️⃣Echa all the ingredients in the blender and blend 30 seconds, speed 5-7.
2️⃣Baja the remains towards the blades and program 20 minutes, at 100º, speed 5.
3️⃣Al finish remove the cup from the nozzle so that it evaporates and caramelizes, putting it another 10 minutes, at 100º, speed 5.
4️⃣Vierte in molds or in a bowl and let it cool.
Serve with fresh cheese, nuts or flowers.
Enjoy!

Disfruta!!
