To close my participation, I present my pan de muerto, an ode to patience, knowing how to respect the fermentation times is a challenge, but making the bones is a challenge to patience hahahaha! But seriously I recommend the experience, as a Mexican I’m sorry to say that I had not made this bread before, 🤭 the recipe of the chef Paloma Ortiz is ideal! The result is a soft and very aromatic bread!!!! A real experience! Do not hesitate to take the food course of dia de muertos!!!! #MexicanChallenge

This looks beautiful! The lighting, the marigolds, and that soft sugar crust… it all feels like such a heartfelt tribute. I haven’t made this recipe yet, but it’s definitely on my list! You’ve captured both the spirit and the soul of the tradition perfectly.

¡Hola Betza!
