Here is the result: fig jam. In addition to the little jars with which I have preserved it, I have left a little bit in the fridge to be consuming it these days, although I have another work trip this week 🤨.
I’ve already tried it with cheese and it’s delicious. I remember a long time ago I used to make some puff pastry bags filled with foie and nuts, which I accompanied with fig jam, and it was very good. I’ll make them again 😋😋😋

Aquà está el resultado: mermelada de higos. Además de los frasquitos con los que he hecho conserva, he dejado una poquita en la nevera para ir consumiéndola estos dÃas, aunque me pilla otro viaje de trabajo esta semana 🤨
La he probado ya con queso y está riquÃsima. Recuerdo que hace mucho hacÃa unos saquitos de hojaldre rellenos de foie y frutos secos, que acompañaba con mermelada de higo, e iba muy bien. Volveré a prepararlos 😋😋

¡Pero qué belleza de mermelada, y qué manera tan linda de cerrar la temporada de higos! 🌿🍯 La textura se ve perfecta, con ese brillo justo que invita a untar sin culpa. Me encanta que te tomes el tiempo de conservar y también de recordar platos como esos saquitos con foie… eso es cocina con memoria y sensibilidad.
Yo llevarÃa YA esta mermelada a un postre. Seguro también tiene algo que decir ahà 😉
