Good morning. Yesterday I agreed with @beatriztorijagmail-com that today I was going to propose a kind of challenge or a suggestion, which I hoped you would like. Wouldn’t it be really cool if people from this community got together sometime (for example, people who live in the same city, or who move to another city for work or vacation) and cook a recipe together, document it and upload it to the platform? Something like Beatriz and Maloles did from a distance, but this time together. Imagine that I go out for a walk and I meet @soldamiani-com and we decide to make a caramelized torrija with dulce de leche; we would take pictures and upload it here. A recipe that unites two worlds, Argentine dulce de leche and Spanish torrija. Although if we remove the small detail that between Argentina and Cartagena there are 10240 km, the rest would be fine, hahahahaha. Well, I said cooking with Sol Damiani because I know he lives in Argentina, but this platform is all over the world. So I, for example, live in Cartagena-Murcia-Spain; if someone, some person, comes this way, I would be happy to cook with her. Or if I make a trip, I communicate it and if someone from that city is willing, we will do it and we will tell about it.

i think this idea is wonderful! It has everything that makes this community special: the desire to share, cook and create real connections. 1. It would be interesting to think of some space within the platform where you can easily visualize who lives nearby or if someone will be passing through your city. Something that allows us to find each other in a simpler way. I’ll write it down to discuss with the development team. 2. And while that takes shape… we can already start with virtual versions! As Beatriz and Maloles did, but adding more Scoolinars who are willing to cook remotely and document it with photos, anecdotes or even video calls 🍽️💬 Thank you for launching this generous and inspiring proposal, this is promising!

@soldamiani Glad to be able to contribute something productive to the platform. Let’s see if I come up with more ideas and your bosses give me a job, hahahahahahahah.

@soldamiani The truth is that it would be very good; we could call it “Cooking with friends”. Where there would be two sections, one where people who are willing to host would put their place of residence and other data, and the other section, people who are going to move and want to meet someone to cook.

Ohhhh, what a wonderful proposal. This community is truly amazing. While in social networks, at least for me, I see nothing but posturing and papier mâché… Here there is passion for real cooking and real friendships. Here there is passion for real cooking and real friendships. It is true that this community is global and here there are people from all over the world. It’s not easy… but I don’t think it’s impossible for those encounters to happen. Without going any further, this summer there was a brief but wonderful meeting in Madrid 😍 that I hope to repeat. Now I live in the countryside, in a village in the province of Guadalajara… take note in case someone comes here ☝️. And I go to Madrid frequently too. Hey, Antonio, by the way, you have to prepare an Asian coffee for us 😉😀.

@beatriztorijagmail-com Hey, between Guadalajara and Cartagena there are only 450 km, that in one of my vacations I think about it and I go to Guadalajara. I’ll do the coffee thing this weekend and I’ll upload it and, in the meetings I can go to, I’ll sponsor it.

@beatriztorijagmail-com, what am I saying, that Guadalajara is only 45 km away; I’ll think about it during a vacation and I’ll show up at your house and we’ll make some great dishes; Asian coffee is on me.

@cecu6669hotmail-com hahaha That’s the attitude! Indeed, what’s 450 km…. especially considering I have @lanamihajlovic almost convinced that she has to come to Spain from Serbia? 😅 In the meantime, we should think about some online meeting, like the other day with the nuts… I don’t know, everyone can show a dish, or something traditional from their land, or an ingredient, or to make a tasting… let’s see’what @soldamiani thinks about it

Antonio, this is a great idea! I think there are a lot of people around here who would love it. I’m sure Sol and his team will see a way to give it shape😉.
