#Today I tried to make a lactonesa. It is the first time I make it and I have cut it. I tried to fix it but I didn’t succeed. any trick to make it right?
With the mayonnaise with egg, sometimes it was cut, until I understood that all the ingredients had to be at room temperature.
As for other types of failures, I have made breads that stayed flat or hard, cookies that spread and became a single cookie, buttercreams that were cut, or cookie mixes that you want to double or make half of the recipe calculating on the fly and you get lost and do not add the right amount of an ingredient.

#epicfail hoy he probado a hacer una lactonesa.

How nice your #epicfail confession, who hasn’t had one like that in the kitchen! That lactonesa looks like it went on vacation without warning… 😅
When that happens, don’t throw everything away: try starting from scratch with a tablespoon of new milk, and instead of using clean oil, go around adding the cut mixture little by little while whisking. Sometimes it revives, like someone who needs a strong coffee to start.
thanks for sharing it with humor! And watch out: duplicating recipes “by eye” is a favorite risk sport for some people hahaha What was the weirdest experiment that came out well without you wanting to do it? Thanks for sharing it with the community.Level:Scoolinary Team
. Gracias por compartirlo con la comunidad.1-

Ah yes, welcome to the club of heroic kitchen attempts and mysterious emulsions 😅 Lactonesa can be tricky at first. I’ve heard using cold milk and pouring the oil very slowly helps. And totally feel you on the ‘half recipe’ chaos… baking math is not for the faint of heart! Keep going, every fail is a future win in disguise

@Lana Mihajlović yes, it is inevitable to have mistakes and, although it may be a bummer at first, you have to see them as opportunities to learn how to solve and improve.
