📬 C ommunity Newsletter – July 2025

Hello Scoolinars,

July is moving forward, and for those of us who live the kitchen with dedication – whether from the responsibility of managing a Community to a professional kitchen, an entrepreneurship or a passionate pursuit at home – this is a good time to pause, refine the palate and continue sharing knowledge.

At Scoolinary we are building more than a collection of courses: we are creating a network where experience, technique and creativity intersect with the generosity of a community that learns, teaches and challenges each other.

✨ This month I focused on looking at how we are growing as a community of practice. What really excites us? What exchanges raise the bar? Where are those micro-connections that make cooking a shared experience, even at a distance?

A few things worth celebrating:

• The responses to our first SOCi survey 💬 are helping us better understand how you feel inside this space.

• The spontaneous recommendations, the technical discussions, and the candid anecdotes of real cooking: that’s what brings this community to life.

• The exchange that was generated in the Challenges, which is serving as a meeting point to improve from practice.

💡 In July:

• We take a break from the monthly Challenges. We come back with everything in August (although we don’t rule out an express one… wink 😉).

• In the meantime, we are launching the hashtag #epicfail, an open space to share mistakes, slips and culinary “catastrophes” from which we all learn. Because failing is also part of the process, and sharing it is for the brave (and good cooks). Share your culinary disasters in a post by adding the hashtag.

• We are waiting for Chef Matías Dragun’s final decision on the #IceCreamChallenge. Spoiler alert: on Monday the 14th there will be an exclusive masterclass with him – for the winner and also for three special mentions who gave it their all.
