If for Popeye it was spinach… for me it is this combination of arugula, lamb’s lettuce, grated cheese and walnuts. With salt and a good olive oil. It is a magical salad against bad days

What a lovely way to describe your salad…magical and healing, as it should be!
The combination you chose is simple but powerful, and it looks super fresh. I love how the walnuts stand out against the green, and the touch of cheese gives it that tasty point that rounds everything out. The dish also adds a lot visually, with that classic print that contrasts with the naturalness of the contents. Maybe you could try, if you feel like it, to play with different cuts or ways of distributing the ingredients to give it an even more visual touch… but as it is, it already invites you to sit down and smile!

do you always prepare it the same way or do you vary it with what you have on hand?

Thank you for sharing a dish so much yours, one of those that lift your spirits effortlessly 🥰💪

@sussan_scoolinaryteam I think I’ve already told you about it. Other salads, I change according to what’s at home or what we feel like… but this one, this one is immovable, it doesn’t lack anything. Well, I almost always add only lamb’s lettuce, cheese and walnuts. Now I add arugula because I have two crazy little plants that do not stop growing… and the truth is that it is delicious, it has nothing to do with the one you buy packaged.

I don’t know why I’m so manic only with this salad, it’s probably because it’s the salad I prepare when I’m very tired or when I’ve had a bad day. It makes everything go away ❤️

I read “magic salad” hahaha. Beautiful dish. For me, its equivalent for grey days is a good pasta dish with olive oil and shredded quesito.
          enjoy! 😍

That combo of arugula, lamb’s lettuce, cheese and walnuts sounds like the perfect mix of peppery, creamy, and crunchy and with a drizzle of good olive oil, it’s pure magic… a true little ritual of self-care on a plate.
