      Grilled octopus.

First cooked and then grilled until caramelized, a few dots of parmentier to decorate

Mercedes, I like your grilled octopus dish, and double version! That already speaks of your aesthetic quest and your attention to detail.

The cut of the octopus is very well done: even, clean and with that caramelization that screams “take my picture!”. The brightness is appetizing and the curved arrangement gives a very nice dynamism to the dish. The parmentier dots are well spaced, although you could try playing more with their size or alignment to create a more distinct visual rhythm. The sprig of rosemary adds color and volume, although you could integrate a crunchy element or something with height to give it extra contrast.

have you considered using a mashed base or brushstroke as a background for the octopus? It could give more depth and help to visually “anchor” the dish.

You’re on a beautiful path, don’t stop! Each adjustment sharpens your eye and grows your technique.❤

            ¡Mer!: ¡Esto es una joya visual! 😍

One of my absolute favorite dishes and this one looks phenomenal! 😍 The caramelized finish on the octopus is just perfect, and those little dots of parmentier add such an elegant touch. I can almost taste the smoky flavor from the grill… truly a dish that never fails to impress!
