Holaa I tell them that in the reversion of butter cookies some are filled with strawberry jam the darkest are with jam butia rum, for those who do not know the butia is a fruit native to our region that is the fruit of a kind of palm tree, is orange has a hard pit and inside it a small almond very sweet with a slight coconut flavor, the fruit ripens in the months of December usually sometimes if temperatures are high in November months are already ripe and suitable for eating, a very well known drink called¨ guindado¨ is made by macerating this fruit with sugar cane and sugar, in its original preparation there are recipes that add some species such as cloves making a syrup with sugar and water, then add the fruit and finally the cane which has a high degree of alcohol, after this is left to macerate for several months until the alcohol of the cane begins to melt with the sugar of the fruit and the syrup, they are delicious!!!
