Maloles Muñoz to Beatriz Torija

Thanks to Beatriz @beatriztorijagmail-com I got to know the recipe for pickled walnuts from Robert Ruiz Moreno’s Introduction to Pickles course.
I told her that I was going to make them and she encouraged me so I could see the evolution and results. To see how they behave in different areas, if the climate affects the result or not. We have at least 4 months to see what comes out of this invention that Robert Ruiz tells in his course😉.
Water, vinegar and sugar in equal parts. In my case a two liter jar to test 🤣.
Is anyone else up for it ?

Agua, vinagre y azúcar a partes iguales.

maloles, I love your initiative! It’s beautiful to see how Scoolinars encourage each other to experiment and share their tests. I think it’s great that you and Beatriz are betting on this pickled nuts project, I want to see how they turn out after those 4 months!
The idea of seeing how the weather influences the result seems super interesting to me, because sometimes those little details make a big difference in cooking. Have you thought about taking notes or photos of how they change over time? It could be nice to document that process and then see the differences between regions. I follow you closely in this adventure! ❤️

¡Maloles, me encanta tu iniciativa!

What a fun and curious culinary experiment! Huge thanks to Beatriz for the encouragement and to you for diving in! It’s so exciting to think about how the climate might influence the results. That two-liter jar is about to become a time capsule of flavor. Can’t wait to see what it’s like in 4 months!

i can‘ t wait to see the final result…but there’s still a long way to go. We will be satisfied with seeing month by month the visual change they are having😉.
Level:Executive Chef
