There are days when my body asks for pasta, carbonara is my favorite on those days. I don’t know why, I don’t know if it’s my brain asking for energy or what, but it happens to me. Even if I had initially planned to do something else, suddenly, the need for pasta is imperious. Does it happen to you?

Speaking of pasta, don’t miss Savino Sanseverino’s Classic Italian Pasta Recipes course, in which, of course, there is no lack of carbonara, although he makes it with another type of pasta and I like it with spaghetti. Although there are recipes that we already know, it is worth doing it, because he gives tips that make the difference between a normal pasta dish and an extraordinary one.

it’s the same for me as it is for you! There are days when the body simply asks for pasta, and there’s no turning back. In my case, when I have a craving, I always run to prepare my favorite combination: a drizzle of olive oil, mushrooms and a bit of smoked ham or bacon and cheese. Cheese is a must when I eat pasta – it’s my go-to comfort recipe!

I wanted to ask you, what was the tip that surprised you the most or that you immediately applied in your preparations after following the Italian Pasta course?

Thanks for sharing and for recommending the course I’m sure many Scoolinars will want to take a look at the recipes . 🙌🏻

@undefined how good your combination sounds, Sussan!!!!

The tip I follow the most from the course is to use some of the pasta cooking water. I used to do it already with carbonara, but now I do it with all pastas. That water, with the starch in the pasta, makes all the difference in the sauce

I did the course and it is true that although we know the recipes he gives you a different vision of pasta, I now try to buy it from the bronze

That dish has made me want to eat 😀 .

The other day I was talking to my sister about it and I was telling her that I don’t make hardly any for my husband ( he’s not really into it ) but I decided that I would make it for myself . Now that I see your post I think I will take a look at that course as soon as I can and change my priorities 🤣🥰

@undefined I don’t eat too much pasta, my husband is the same way, he likes it, but he is not enthusiastic about it… but once in a while, a nice pasta, it gives me life 🤩.

EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT 😂 I swear. I get a craving I can’t even see. 😋 This carbonara has a shine that makes you fall in love, and the guanciale looks golden, juicy, just right. The mixture with the yolk is well bound, without overcooking … 👏

what is your number 1 when it comes to cheeses for carbonara? Are you a purist with pecorino or do you like to combine it?

          Pasta-lover forever🍝

@undefined from time to time, I do make it with pecorino, but not always, because it is not one of the most common cheeses in Spanish stores. If I don’t have it, I use Parmesan, which is always in my fridge 😅

Yes! That sudden, unstoppable craving for pasta is so real! Carbonara has that magical comfort-power – rich, creamy, and soul-satisfying. Thanks for the course tip too. Savino Sanseverino sounds like a master worth learning from. It’s amazing how the smallest tips can take a dish from good to unforgettable. Now I’m craving carbonara too… 😅
