As Sussan says that lilac is his favorite color, I dedicate to him this dish between lilac and purple, of red cabbage au gratin. I made it recently, because I had a lot of red cabbage that I bought for a challenge, but very little was needed, and so I gave it more uses

Bea my heart can not be happier, I have been very excited. Thank you for dedicating your dish is the first time someone has such a nice detail this.❤️

Your creation looks very appetizing with the color of the beautiful red cabbage and that gratin that invites you to try it immediately. What other ingredients accompany the beautiful red cabbage.

Once again thank you for sharing it..🙂 .

@sussan_scoolinaryteam what less, Sussan, you always have nice words with all of us 🥰.

For the dish I cook the red cabbage with an onion sofrito and then add bacon, raisins and pine nuts. I place it in the dish, with some butter cubes on top and cover with cheese and a little breadcrumbs, so that when it is gratinized it gets toasted and has a little crunchy touch. Bake in the oven for a few minutes and it’s ready.

I don’t add béchamel sauce so it doesn’t lose the lightness of a vegetable dish… without giving up that gratin with cheese and butter that is so appetizing 😇

That’s such a thoughtful dedication! Did you add any special spices or cheese to your au gratin?

@lanamihajlovic siiii, is that Sussan is a sweetheart with all of us… by the way, what is your favorite color? ☺️

I don’t have a special cheese to make this gratin. I grate some of the ones I have at the moment. I love cheese and I always have some in the fridge 🧀

Just in the answer to the previous comment I explain how I do it
