I recently prepared a very special garlic soup recipe from Pepa Muñoz’s ‘Homemade Spanish Cooking’ course. I wanted to prepare another version, the one prepared by Carme Ruscalleda in the course ‘Healthy Mediterranean Cuisine’. Today was the day. Only that instead of accompanying the soup with some shrimp, I have done it with some cubes of black sausage. I liked it a lot, although I have to say that I prefer Pepa’s version with torrija and yolk.

Do not miss either of the two courses, I already have in mind some other elaboration

how tasty it looks, Beatriz! I like the way you described your experience with the two versions of the garlic soup, and what a good idea to use black sausage, I’m sure it gave it a very tasty flavor.

would you dare to try a third version with a different type of accompaniment, I’m sure it’s delicious too! 🤩

I did this course and I liked it very much, but the classic version is the one I prefer for my taste

@undefined si, yo también. La verdad es que me despertaba curiosidad y quise hacerla por probar. Pero, en efecto, me quedo con la versión clásica ☺️

What a delight Beatriz. Pepa’s course is fantastic, C. Ruscalleda’s course I have just started (I thought it was another one you were talking about). Thanks for the recommendation❤

Both versions sound incredible! The twist with black sausage must have brought a savory depth to the soup, but I can totally see how Pepa’s with torrija and yolk could be a favorite. Both courses seem like gold mines for new ideas! 👏😊

so nice to see you explore different versions of a classic like garlic soup! 🔥
The texture looks silky and very well bound, and the diced black butifarra sausage gives it a powerful and tasty contrast. How about adding the next onea touch of crunch as a topping ? It could give it an interesting twist.
