Arriving home and finding this is priceless. A bouquet of artichokes placed so beautifully.
He: “There were no flowers today but I thought you might like them…”
He often brings me wildflowers, along with asparagus. The last ones, the St. Joseph’s wands that you saw these days on my plates.
We’ve been married for 39 years and he continues to surprise me every day❤.
They definitely deserve to be pardoned and enjoyed like this in my kitchen🥰.

My first impression when I saw the photo was… Maloles bought a new plant and is showing it to us, then I started to read your post and I felt as beautiful as you describe that nice gesture that your husband has had for you.
39 years is not easy to say, you can see the affection and complicity between you and that “bouquet” of artichokes is not only original, it is also beautiful!
Here in Peru we gave artichoke and I remembered that it was one of my grandfather’s favorite dishes. I remember that my grandmother used to prepare them very simply, just boiled and accompanied with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. It was like the ritual of the afternoon to take out each leaf, soak it in oil and talk about the day, that’s how I remember my grandparents sharing and talking in the afternoon.

Mi primera impresiĂłn al ver la foto fue… Maloles se comprĂł una nueva plantita y nos la está mostrando, luego comencĂ© a leer tu post y sentĂ tan bonito como describes ese gesto tan lindo que a tenido tu marido para contigo.
39 años no se dice fácil,se nota el cariño y la complicidad que hay entre ustedes y ese “bouquet” de alcauciles no solo es original, ¡también es precioso!.
AquĂ en PerĂş le dimos alcachofa y recordĂ© que era uno de los platos favoritos de mi abuelo. Recuerdo que mi abuela los preparaba bien sencillo, solo sancochados y lo acompañaba con un poquito de aceite de oliva sal y pimienta. Era como el ritual de la tarde sacar cada hojita remojar en aceite y conversar del dĂa ,asĂ recuerdo a mis abuelos compartiendo y conversando por la tarde.
