Title: Happy Breakfast
During the week I work soooo many hours, I get up early a lot and I’m always stressed. I’m not complaining, I’m lucky! It is precisely this rhythm of life that makes me appreciate the moments of peace.
Saturday breakfast is one of those moments and in these photos I leave you my perfect breakfast.
I made the bread, butter and tomato jam (it’s not yet time to sow coffee, pick it… 😂)
As a curiosity of the props of the photos, I will tell you that you can see a little bit of a handmade tablecloth made by an aunt of my father-in-law. When she made it for me she was 90 years old!!! I adore it. The book that you can see on the lectern, I made it in a literary editing workshop that a friend of mine signed me up for (without telling me before 😂😂)

Titulo: Feliz Desayuno
Durante la semana trabajo muuuuchas horas, madrugo mucho y siempre voy estresada. No me quejo, soy afortunada!! Es precisamente este ritmo de vida, lo que me hace apreciar los momentos de paz.
El desayuno del sábado es uno de esos momentos y en estas fotos os dejo mi desayuno perfecto.
He hecho el pan, la mantequilla y la mermelada de tomate (aún no ha llegado el momento de sembrar café, recolectarlo… 😂)
Como curiosidad del atrezzo de las fotos, os diré que se vé un poquito de un mantelito hecho a mano por una tía de mi suegro. Cuando me lo hizo tenía 90 años!! Lo adoro. El libro que se ve en el atril, lo hice yo en un taller de edición literaria al que me apunto un amigo (sin avisarme antes 😂😂)

@lanamihajlovic for me is priceless, in the middle of that stress that always accompanies me, that little bit of silence with a good book, a freshly brewed coffee… like now, it’s early, my husband is still sleeping, my neighbors too and I only hear the sound of the keys and some little bird that starts singing on the roof every morning. This is life.
@lanamihajlovic para mí no tiene precio, en medio de ese estrés que me acompaña siempre, ese ratito de silencio con un buen libro, un café recién hecho… como ahora, es temprano, mi marido aun duerme, mis vecinos también y sólo oigo el sonido de las teclas y algún pajarillo que se pone a cantar en la azotea todas las mañanas. Esto es vida.

I made the jam with cherry tomatoes and added a touch of vanilla. I did not dare to make too much in case it was too cloying, but it was not. It is very tasty, I will make it again when it is tomato season so that the flavor is even more powerful.

Hice la mermelada con tomates cherry y le puse un toque de vainilla. No me atreví a hacer mucha cantidad por si resultaba muy empalagosa, pero no fue así. Está muy rica, volveré a hacerla cuando sea temporada de tomates para que el sabor sea aún más potente.
