CHERRIES STUFFED WITH DUCK FOIE GRAS

the first thing is to remove the bone without breaking the cherry and that the stalk remains intact, since the cherry is going to be taken by the stalk

I remove the bone with tweezers, it is the only thing that does not break the cherry

Once emptied, fill with the foie gras without protruding, with a spatula you leave it very well.

Then I put it on the cherry leaves to plate.

It is an appetizer that, as you can see, is put with the tail up.

If you want to surprise it is not necessary to say that the cherry is stuffed.

It is a contrast of sweet and salty taste of the richest and most pleasant.

I hope you like this appetizer very much

mercedes, your way with appetizers is already miniature art.

The delicacy of emptying the cherry without breaking it, the gesture of leaving the stalk intact, the exact filling without excess and that final touch on natural leaves… everything speaks of a *creative precision* that you don’t see every day.
and on top of that, you don’t even mention that they are stuffed! That game with the diner is pure charm.
You have an admirable versatility, Mercedes -whether sweet or savory, simple or elaborate, you always find a way to surprise with elegance.
Thanks for continuing to share these little gems with the community 💚.

mercedes, this is great! There’s something almost naughty about serving such a perfect cherry and when you bite into it, it has that unexpected foie filling…it’s like a secret that only reveals itself in the first bite! 🤩 I thought it was brilliant that you left the stalk intact, not only is it practical to eat, but it looks beautiful when served! Have you ever tried it with another small fruit like figs or grapes?
Using the cherry tree leaves themselves for plating was a very special touch, it’s as if the cherries have gone back to their tree, but turned into something magical.✨
Thank you for sharing such a creative and loving idea, now I’m going to look at cherries in a different way! ☺️

This is absolute elegance in a bite! 🍒✨ The precision, the presentation, and that luxurious combination of sweet cherry and rich duck foie gras—pure genius. Served with the stem up, it holds both mystery and charm. A show-stopping appetizer that whispers sophistication without saying a word. Bravo! 👏
