      Spring

And the carnations bloomed, flooding the garden with color, Where long-awaited dreams are taking shape. Where spring comes embracing the soul 🌸.

A cod and apple ceviche marinated in olive oil and lime.

Cod, apple, lime, aove, salt, parsley oil and carnation flowers that stands as the protagonist of this fresh and spring-like starter.

I have been wanting to make this dish for a long time. The idea is from chef Martina, although I have changed the fish and the flowers. They set the pace and I let myself be carried away by their beauty…

what a nice way to bring spring to the plate! That touch of carnation flowers not only adds color, but it looks like you put a garden on top of the ceviche. I found the combination of cod with apple very curious, what kind of apple did you use.

Also, that parsley oil gives it a super cheerful visual effect, it looks as if you painted the dish with green droplets.
Maloles, thanks for showing us this beautiful creation and joining the challenge. 🫶🏻

@undefined Use the Granny Apple. The truth is that the contrast is curious. Very fresh in the mouth. For those who like ceviches, this one with so few ingredients is a novelty.
          Thank you Sussan ❤️

granny Smith, of course! With that acidic and crunchy point it sure makes a spectacular contrast with the cod. I love how you achieved something so fresh and original with so few ingredients, it shows that you don’t need to complicate to surprise. And how nice that you share it with such simplicity and generosity! I’m sure that more than one will be encouraged to try it thanks to you.

Once again thank you for sharing it and joining the challenge.🚀❤️🚀

Absolutely poetic-and what a beautiful tribute to the season! spring not only delights the senses with its colors and flavors, but tells a story. The pairing of cod and apple sounds refreshingly elegant, and those carnation petals… pure artistry. A dish that blooms just like the garden it was inspired by. Bravo! 🌿🕊️

this dish blooms like a poem served on a cold plate! 💚🌸 I imagine the perfume of those ingredients flooding everything! Thank you for joining the #PlatingChallenge with this Spring in Green and Pink that not only celebrates flavor, but also the exact moment when the season touches the soul. The ceviche with cod and apple is already pure freshness, but those carnations… they dance! How did you work the balance between the acidity of the lime and the crisp sweetness of the apple? Upload it to networks and don’t forget to troll us: @scoolinary_es & @davidjrickett – may spring also bloom on timelines 🌿✨.

@soldamiani Thank you Sol! They complement each other perfectly. A different but novel ceviche for me. Next time I think I’ll grate a little bit of lime, or better orange. I’ll try it next time now that I know I like it😉.

The freshness of this dish transcends the screen. You can almost smell the lime and apple. It’s gorgeous, with such an attractive coloring 🥰🥰.
