Asparagus preserve in vinegar and vinegar sauce

Yesterday I made the first canned asparagus in vinegar. I hope it will be the first of many because the season is looking good.

The best way to vacuum them is to fill the jars (previously sterilized in the oven together with the lids at 100ºC 15 minutes) hot, close well and leave them upside down 24h. If the lid is hard, the vacuum will be perfect and will last for months.

Last year I made so many jars that we were enjoying this marvel until December 31 and they were as freshly made, or even better.

You can see the recipe here. You only have to click on the magnifying glass and it will take you directly to it. On Instagram I have a video, it’s not very good but you can get an idea. Any doubt, I’ll be happy to solve it😉.

      Have a happy Sunday ❤

It must be a satisfaction to open a bottle in the middle of winter and find all that flavor intact.

Plus, that vinaigrette color gives it a super eye-catching visual touch.

are you thinking of using this asparagus in any other recipe?

Maloles, thanks for showing us your recipe result, it looks like these preserves are going to be delicious.☺️

Such a great idea for preserving asparagus! 🌱✨ The vinegar and sauce combo must give them such a nice tangy kick. Love the tip about the vacuum sealing method—sounds like a perfect way to enjoy them for months. Can’t wait to try this myself! 😍👏

@lanamihajlovic Lana. this is a typical recipe from my homeland. They are eaten like this, as if it were a cold soup. But I vacuum them so that they last all year and it goes great. You can find the recipe in the post I made last year. Search in the magnifying glass: Asparagus in vinegar sauce

Let me know if you make them what you think 😉.
