On a vacation we passed through Falmouth, a port in northern Jamaica, where we had the opportunity to eat spicy, charcoal-grilled chicken. The name is chicken jerk; intense flavor and slightly spicy. Needless to say that my daughter Maria ate, at the age of 11, half a chicken because it was so good.

Recently I was able to go there again and bought the spices to make it at home; the result was really amazing. For the kids? Sirloin and New York.

I take this opportunity to tell you that, although I will try to keep in touch with the platform, I will be away for 50 days, for a well-deserved vacation to Seoul, Saigon and Sydney. Then I will take a cruise that will take me from the latter city to Vancouver, Canada. Suddenly I will come in to comment but not to post as I won’t be cooking…..

      enjoy your meal!

That sounds like an incredible food experience! The chicken jerk must have been packed with flavor, and I can totally imagine Maria devouring half a chicken—it must’ve been that good! 😋 Enjoy your well-deserved vacation! Seoul, Saigon, and Sydney sound amazing, and the cruise to Vancouver is the cherry on top. I’m looking forward to some new culinary experiences from your travels! ✈️🌏🍗

¡Buen viaje y buen provecho! 🍗✈️
