How interesting! I’ve never made savoury macarons before, these look so tasty. I went through a period where I made macarons nearly daily, trying to perfect them. I’m happy to say that I recently made a batch and found it to be very simple and easy. I think the trick is to figure out the correct texture of the meringue, then everything else falls into place. I made walnut macarons filled with caramel and apples. I’ll take a look at this recipe, it sounds like a wonderful combination and I am very intrigued by it.
