I know, it doesn’t look very Instagramish but these different flavours are amazing. This is Dabeli Masala – a sandwich from India. I made masala peanuts, dabeli filling from mashed potatoes, green chutney, thamarind chutney. I didn’t have a pomegranate, so I used litchi and insted of chickpea noodles I used kataifi.

It looks amazing! It might not be super “Instagrammable,” but you can tell it’s packed with flavor and creativity. That mix of chutneys, mashed potatoes, and masala peanuts sounds like a flavor explosion. And using kataifi instead of chickpea noodles? Pure genius! This is what I call food with personality. 🙌🏻

Welcome to the Community, Chef Agné! 🌟 You’ve taken a creative spin on Dabeli, and I must say, using litchi instead of pomegranate is quite a bold and refreshing choice—did it add a touch of sweetness that balanced the spices? Also, swapping chickpea noodles for kataifi sounds like an ingenious twist! 😍 How did the texture play out with that substitution? Keep experimenting and sharing—it’s always exciting to see these personalized takes on traditional dishes. 🙌
