Oh my God! I have burned some delicious pickled sardines that I was making this afternoon. I left them on the fire with the timer (or so I thought) and I started playing with my grandniece … I went “the saint to heaven” 😱 When I realized it was blacker than coal. With the time it has taken me to clean the loins without a thorn …🙃
I don’t think my kitchen will ever be the same again…the smell will stay forever? Have you ever burned something?

Dios mio!! Se me han quemado unas sardinas en escabeche buenísimas que estaba haciendo esta tarde. Las dejé al fuego con el temporizador ( o al menos eso creí yo) y me puse a jugar con mi sobrina nieta …se me fue “el santo al cielo” 😱 Cuando me he dado cuenta estaba mas negro que el carbón. Con el tiempo que me ha llevado dejar los lomos bien limpitos sin una espina …🙃
Creo que mi cocina no volverá a ser la misma.. el olor se quedará para siempre?? Se os ha quemado alguna vez algo ?😅

oh no, Maloles! Well, I must say that yes, I also stopped by ….. “it smells burnt, could it be that the neighbor’s food is burning? and oops! The neighbor was me, my food was burning … 😅.
With the craziness of Christmas dinner my rice that accompanied my baked turkey came out with a “light” ( I give myself encouragement even though I know it’s not true about light) smoky flavor hahaha. I saved what I could, thank goodness we had other side dishes.

¡Oh no, Maloles! Pues debo decir que sí,también pase por el …. “huele a quemado, ¿será que a la vecina se le está quemando la comida? y ¡ups! La vecina era yo ,a mi se me estaba quemando la comida … 😅.
Con la locura de la cena navideña mi arroz que acompañaba mi pavo al horno salió con un “ligero” ( me doy animos aunque se que no es verdad lo de ligero) sabor ahumado jajaja. Salve lo que pude, menos mal teníamos otras guarniciónes.

El/la que esté libre de accidentes así en la cocina… que tire la primera piedra. Hace no mucho quemé una carne de membrillo… llegué a pensar que iba a tener que tirar incluso la olla 😳. Da mucha rabia, pero bueno, piensa que el tiempo que has pasado con tu sobrina nieta no tiene precio ☺️
