Today I prepared a special roscón de Reyes for tomorrow. This time, I based it on the donut course recipe, but I adapted it by adding a little more water and flavoring it with orange, vanilla and a touch of orange powder that I bought at the German supermarket in front of my house.
I decided to try this variation because, during the donut course, I was encouraged to bake part of the dough and the result was a sweet and soft bread that remained tender for several days. Thinking to ensure the same texture for tomorrow, I thought it was a good idea to use this base.
The result has been as I expected and I hope tomorrow we will have a delicious and soft roscon de reyes.

Hoy preparé un roscón de Reyes especial para mañana. En esta ocasión, me basé en la receta del curso de donuts, pero la adapté agregandole un poco mas de agua y aromatizándola con naranja, vainilla y un toque de naranja en polvo que compré en el supermercado alemán frente a casa.
Decidà probar esta variante porque, durante el curso de donuts, me animé a hornear una parte de la masa y el resultado fue un pan dulce y suave que se mantuvo tierno varios dÃas. Pensando en asegurar esa misma textura para mañana, me pareció una buena idea usar esta base.
El resultado ha sido como esperaba y espero mañana tengamos un roscon un delicioso y suave roscon de reyes.
