I would love to meet Richard Bies from the Doughnuts course. I’d love to sample the different doughnuts and also talk about how to come up with flavour ideas. The doughnut presentations are also spectacular, so I would enjoy discussing how to approach the decoration of these delightful products.

Hi Mandie, I am glad you enjoyed the course. I think flavours are very personal, so I usually get ideas from things that I have eaten that I love or things that are dessert classic that I can do my own twist on to make a doughnut. When it comes to decoration I think everyone is creative, so I try to use my own aesthetic to design something visually appealing and makes people want to eat it. I also try and add a reference to the flavour in the decoration whenever possible. Thanks and best of luck with your doughnuts!
