💡Tips to take the best photos of your burger and win our #CopyCatBurger Challenge! Our dear @emilyscoolinarycom recommends:
“For burgers, I would go for a frontal shot that highlights each layer, ingredient, and color.
You need to arrange the sauce in a special way to make our mouths water… remember, this isn’t for eating, it’s for photographing. 😋You’ll notice that we distribute the sauce a bit differently to get a better view. Don’t hesitate to use toothpicks for more precise application.
The bun often takes center stage or even more than the patty itself. Choose one with a good color, and depending on the finish, you can apply a bit of hairspray to give it shine. Don’t be afraid to use non-edible items for your food styling!
Remember to include the “fresh” vegetables at the last moment so they look amazing in the photo.🌿
Needless to say, the usual tips apply: lighting, shadows, background, props, and composition.“

Great tips! I used to work in advertising and loved watching food stylists work their magic. Never knew about the hairspray! 😆

It’s truly mesmerizing to watch them at work! I recently had the chance to attend a Scoolinary shoot and witnessed the photographer in action. Amazing!
