Hi Everyone, I am pursuing Doughnuts course by Richard Bies on scoolinary.

I see that the chef has recommended using Yuzu juice in the recipe, which is being somewhat hard to get hold of where I live. Is there a substitute for this one, would omitting this be substantially affecting taste?

    Thanks,

Welcome to the Scoolinary community, and thanks for your question.

Yuzu is a unique citrus fruit with a complex flavor that combines notes of lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit. If you can’t find yuzu, you can mix lemon and mandarin juice: combine equal parts of lemon juice and mandarin juice to achieve a similar flavor profile. You can adjust the proportions to your taste.

We hope this information helps. Best regards.
