Yes, absolutely! Donut dough recipes can be made in half batches without any problem. Just make sure to:
1. Weigh your ingredients carefully: Especially when using yeast or eggs, it’s best to use a scale to ensure accurate proportions.2. Keep the fermentation times the same: Even if you’re working with a smaller quantity, the resting/fermentation times should remain unchanged.
3. Watch the hydration: If the original recipe is well-balanced, the half batch will be too, as long as you maintain the exact ratios.
