Friday Treats: A Crispy Fiesta
Today was all about crunchy pleasures. I made jalapeños stuffed with cheese, breaded and baked to golden perfection, a bite that starts off gentle and ends with a cheeky kick. Alongside them, two different snacks with corn and peppers with cheese, little flavor bombs that disappeared far too quickly.
For dipping, I chose both sides of the chili world… a fiery chili dip jam and a sweet chili sauce, because balance is always the key. And to round it all out, there were roasted carrots and celery… crispy, sweet, and the perfect backup singers to all that heat.
And while the aromas still linger in the kitchen, Friday slowly turns into the weekend. An invitation to gather, to share, and to enjoy just one more crunchy bite in good company.

@soldamiani Hahaha, you’re the sweetest. ❤️ I can already imagine us sharing this tray together. Your ouzo on ice next to my chili bites, what a combo! This time I didn’t make the chili jam myself, but I often do. Next round, I’ll prep a homemade jar and we’ll toast to it together.

¿Pero qué maravilla es esta, Lana? que delicia… jalapeños rellenos, se me antojan crujientes, picantitos, suaves…
El conjunto se ve tan apetecible, tan rico… sobre todo, proque me hace pensar en eseos platos que preparamos para una reunión de amigos. Y si es así, ¿por qué no estoy en Serbia degustándolos? 😅
